All kidding aside, what was ever the outward, stated intention for the previous administration to basically completely open the southern border?

Mechanically speaking, how did it work? Was it more not policing known coyote crossings, or was it just waving any/everyone through official checkpoints?

What exactly did the current administration do to close it off in just a couple of weeks?

Finally, I enjoyed this paragraph from a July NYT piece that HATED ITSELF for having to admit out loud Trump's policy was working:

quote:

President Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s administration largely struggled with the southern border, with monthly arrests peaking in December 2023 at nearly 250,000. After Mr. Biden moved to limit asylum at the border, the numbers dropped under 50,000 by the closing months of his administration — but never this low.

The intention was to get as many people in and get them to be voters. This is why the democrats are so desperate to keep them in the country.

They didn't just open the border. Through various NGOs, they actually went and picked up immigrants and flew them over the border.

Like people have said thousands of times, nobody not even one walked from Venezuela to the Mexican border. They were assisted, intentionally.

They tied the hands of BP and ICE so they couldn’t enforce law and order. They wanted to create as much chaos as possible to hide the mega fraud. Waltz will go down with his ship bc he has no other options. He’s creating as much chaos as possible. Newsome will be next and that will be staggering. It’s how the USA got in so much friggen debt.

In general, the Cloward-Piven strategy is described as a back-door plan to change a country into a welfare state. I also read a friend’s definition that describes it as a multi-step plan to destabilize a country’s institutions through mass immigration and welfare policies. Another way this strategy has been defined is to organize anti-poverty groups to create a political crisis, thereby causing a redistribution of wealth through the federal government and a new type of leadership.

Regardless of which definition is used, the chain reaction of creating chaos that leads to crisis, ultimately ending in collapse and opening the door to a new government takeover, is the general strategy.

It was just because Congress didn’t act. They REALLY wanted a closed border but their hands were tied.

It mostly started with coyote drive traffic. Then Biden figured out the pictures of rape trees and thousands of Africans waiting underneath bridges was no bueno, and then they changed to catch and release if you transited through an official crossing location. People were intentionally seeking out border crossings and CBP in order to turn themselves in.

Sufficient laws are already on the books but when they're not enforced they really don't matter.
