In a recent conversation with their son, his parents, who live in Wisconsin, told him to be careful when protesting.

"We had this discussion with him two weeks ago or so, you know, that go ahead and protest, but do not engage, do not do anything stupid, basically," Michael Pretti said. "And he said he knows that. He knew that."

When you piss too close to the third rail, sometimes the wind blows...

I wonder if they needed to remind him, a grown arse man, to watch for cars when you cross the street.

Sound like reasonable people saddened by the brainwashing of their son

This is like when you do something you know you shouldn't do and then after you wish you would not have done that thing.

Yep, this is it.

Sounds like they knew that there was a chance their son would do something like he did.

His governor told him to get in the face of ICE which he obliged dutifully.

He, in fact, did not know this.

Don't think he took that talk to heart.

Look, maybe he was thinking he was helping a woman that he perceived to be treated unfairly and was trying to be reasonable. I could give him the benefit of the doubt. But he came heavy and in the middle of all this chaos and for what? What does his death accomplish? No one on the left gives a shite about this man other than to further their narrative. Once his death has been used he will be forgotten and that's all the left does.

Liberals cannot overcome their emotions to think rationally. They are motivated to act by their feelings and not facts.

He was how old, mid 30s, and they’re having to tell him this? They obviously knew their son was a dumb-A

Seems like they had an idea he might act like slow.

Why else would they warn him?

“Don’t engage or do anything stupid.”

“And he knew that”

And then he bought a shiny new gun and brought it to the face-off with LEO’s.
