All you flamers who stalk this board

You all love to call Floyd, Good and Pretti innocents. Every one of them resisted law enforcement and faced lethal force. Do you want the actions they took to be legal? Do you want Floyd as your next door neighbor? Do you want detainees like Good to have permission to simply drive away? Do you want vigilantes like Pretti out wandering in your neighborhood? Do you want the citizenry to have an option to decide whether or not the police forces have authority?
If so then why not post your address on this public forum along with a statement that you and your family will not involve law enforcement if anything happens? You do not do this because you want protection of law enforcement but for some reason want others to be excused from obeying the law.
These people were not murdered, they challenged law enforcement officers and suffered lethal reactions. Ignorance of the law is no excuse for breaking the law

I don't think anyone is disputing that these people put themselves in precarious situations. I'm not even sure who you think you're arguing with but it sounds like it's your own imagination.

I certainly do not want law enforcement called when my 11 year old beats your 14 year old down on the playground for calling him a cracker. We do need peace officers in our society but not for every little thing we do.
A society that respects one another is a much more peaceful society. Today, due to government officials of all stripes wanting to be involved in everything we do, how can we learn to respect one another?

Maybe start by not assuming that my kid is being taught to act this way. Then stop assuming that your kid is physically superior to mine because I can assure you that my genes were passed successfully and undeniable superiority is questionable

Do you see a lot of people here saying that they were just randomly attacked? Even the people that think lethal force wasn't justified understand that these people put themselves in a bad situation. OP is arguing with something that does not exist in any meaningful capacity.

Those accounts aren't all real individuals.
It's like 7 guys max with 11+ different accounts each, that they keep swapping in and out. The point is to make it appear their point of view is held by more people than it really is.

Even those people understand that these people put themselves in dangerous situations though. I'm not sure why anyone would want to create the dairy tail that they don't.
It might be comforting to think that people that disagree with you are simply insane (and sometimes they are) but that's not always the case. Things are rarely as simple as black and white.
