We're going to need the Frosh DLineman coming in to grow up quick and play in more 3 safety looks to make up for corner depth, but the starter talent is there

Dottery is the biggest question imo. He's not good in coverage and he misses a lot of tackles. Maybe in Bakers scheme he is better.

The corner depth is fine theirs a reason Raymond didn’t go into the portal and add a guy he’s high on the young corners behind Pickett and woodland . Anding, Finney and Jackson were all former high 4 stars Raymond is high on all of them plus turner has a high ceiling.

When you are on the field for nearly 1,000 snaps, you’d probably get tired and miss tackles too. Dude never came off the field and it probably hindered his performance throughout the game. The next closest Ole Miss defender to Dottery in snaps played was 660 or around that. Nobody on LSUs entire defense even came close to Dottery in snaps played.
Dottery wasn’t the leader in tackles in the entire SEC last season because he was average.

Agreed he’s not gonna have to play damn near every single snap at LSU. Those young pups at lb will for sure play next year. Ross and braiker will make an impact

I worry about corner. When you get into the big games, good teams will pick on a weak corner. I worry when we will need 3+ on field at once.

Based on our lack of going after one in the portal, I don't think Raymond is worried at all.

Pickett and Woodland will hold their own.look out for Aidan Anding. Was the no.1 cb in LA and a top 200 recruit. I think he forces his way onto the way as the no.3 cb
