Have to go to College Station for work trip 2nd week of June. Thought I would tack on a little hunting trip while I was there. Does anyone have rec's for a hog outfitter that would take me on a 1-day or 2-day thermal hog hunt that time of year? I'll have a Air BnB or hotel in CS/Bryan so that's not an issue. TIA

Sandy Creek Outfitters. Its about 2 hrs south of CS. Owner is good people and some of his staff is on our thermal hunting prostaff team. They have a healthy hog population.

So many people pay $1,200.00 for a 4 hr thermal hog hunt?

No idea but they clearly have a thriving business out of it. I've never paid for a guided thermal hunt and i don't live in that area. As asked by the Op, all i did was suggest a place near-by that has a good reputation.

I am not a thermal outfitter but i thermal hunt more than most and im am constantly getting asked by complete strangers to tag along with me. Im sure i could put a pretty hefty price tag on it. I've had people, unprovoked, buy a $2500 thermal thinking that would allow them to come with me.

I have about 3,000 acres be here and MS and have been looking for a swap in TX near there or Dallas.

Plenty of hog, deer, turkey, and bear.

Would like to know what firearm setup you use for hog hunting

Thank you

I live in the Bryan College Station Area. I have a few places to hunt hogs and predators. I could probably take you a couple of nights. I just can't guarantee you hogs. They come and go on the places I hunt. I just never know when they will be around. I will have my deer feeders up and running by then so there could be a few hogs around.

Angel at Sandy Creek runs a great operation.

Thermal drones and top notch guns.
