SIAP.
From Breitbart

quote:

In 2024, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison (D) was among 17 AGs who contended there is no right to carry a gun at “political rallies and protests.”

quote:

The AGs did this in a January 26, 2024, filing in support of upholding California’s gun controls for “sensitive places” in a Ninth Circuit case. In the filing, Ellison and the other AGs expressed support for banning the possession of firearms “in crowded places.” The AGs wrote: “Without the power to institute such restrictions, California and other states would be left unable effectively to prevent gun violence in crowded places, around vulnerable populations, or where individuals are exercising other constitutionally protected rights, putting the public at risk.”

quote:

They emphasized, “Even the perceived risk of gun violence could cause repercussions, as individuals may be discouraged from visiting crowded or confined locations where they know others may be armed.”

quote:

To bolster their argument, Ellison and the other AGs noted the practice of designating “event involving political speech, like political rallies and protests,” as gun-free sensitive places.

The left doesn't care if they're exposed as hypocrites. They've proven this over and over again, they just keep moving on to the next stupid thing.

Not sure it's a great idea to carry a fire arm if you're rioting or are in fact, a domestic terrorist.

Yeah but that’s if we are making up lies about an “armed insurrection” from political enemies.

Now if team Proggy is out with guns trying to kill that same enemy, that’s OK.

How hard is that to understand?

What this has hopefully done, with the left all of a sudden defending first and second amendment issues, and the right attacking the same, is expose both parties as absolutely spineless. Neither of them care about these actual issues, they care about power. They will say whatever benefits them at that moment, and say the opposite the next if they think it helps them stay in power.

Both parties are a plague on our country.

Because the true enemy of this country protects them by covering for them 24/7. Thank God for the purchase of TWITTER by Elon Musk.

Its always about power and privilege, they don't even see it as hypocritcal.

Its like expecting a narcissist to think they're wrong about something, it'll never happen, there's always a rationalization to avoid blame.

I know of one series of events you really really shouldn't do: while armed and committing a felony run up behind a federal law enforcement officer and when taken to the ground continue to resist and then act all surprised and s*** if you're still alive

So him and Kash Patel are on the same page....

"You cannot bring a firearm, loaded, with multiple magazines to any sort of protest that you want. It's that simple. You don't have that right to break the law and incite violence,” Patel said during an interview on Fox News on Sunday.
