What I mean is... This would show that the Leftist Protestors won, and that they can attack law enforcement anywhere if they don't like the law.
So I really don't see Trump letting up. More optics going on here than anything I believe. And surely not Watz winning anything That just can't happen.

Apparently, Trump spoke to the mayor today and they worked something out

SFP is saying that because it is the “largest” deportation force in America is why the “locals” are so organized and mad. What he does not realize is there are other forces just as big in many other cities. Plus, it is working.

They're not going to stop removing illegals or investigating fraud. Whatever else happens is up to the Democrats. So far they've just been digging themselves a deeper hole.

yeah this feels like Trump blinked first and in so doing empowers the left that their tactics worked, so why should they back down? they'll step it up and expand to other cities.

The administration knows this isn't going well for them

Both sides are looking to lower the temps.
In most cases, you have to take that.
I won’t pretend mpls won’t be the headline grabber all year and probably ratchet up 3 more times…. But sometimes squaring up against a kids tantrum without blinking just isn’t the path forward. Occasionally you have to regroup and get after it from a fresh angle instead

Knowing that Trump plays several moves ahead of where he is at the moment, I hope that he's baiting them into overplaying their hand and then will call in the Marines on the ground to crush the protesters souls complete with support from Apache gunships and napalm.
