One of the biggest complaints about major shootings is that networks don't give \out enough information due to the same Contagion Effect concern that has them not showing streakers anymore.

Not showing antics on the field has been a staple since the 70's, I'm guessing.
Started when streakers were a 'thing'.

I can think of a dozen reasons why a guy who can't speak English who isn't widely known and wears a skirt who is for open borders and hates America isn't a good choice for a Super Bowl half time performance.
