...on the courses we are playing. 2 groups of 6 playing Ryder Cup style matches. 8 to 20 HC's. We usually do this annual winter trip in S. Florida or Arizona but changed it up this year.

I'd try and get on Shadow Creek or Summit

Good luck if it gets windy. It can be brutal at times

I just got back from playing 3 days at Pauite. Haven’t played the others, but if you decide to play Pauite you definitely will not be disappointed.

Wolf Creek a must play.
Cool looking course, but I had one of the worst golf experiences of my life there.
Round took about 6 1/2 hours and the group in front of us (2 men and 2 women) were so drunk they could barely stand. They got belligerent with the rangers, but still never got pushed or kicked off the course.
Would love to play there again under different circumstances.

You can do a drove view of Wolf Creek on YouTube.
Awesome course with some crazy tee boxes.

I’m sorry bro, that is a terrible list. Paiute is far and away the best of the group. All three courses there are so fun. The rest are bottom of the barrel in my opinion, literally municipal quality. Is it too late to upgrade? There are so many choices

The Paiute courses are ok. I have played about 15 courses in Vegas and the surrounding error.
Like others in the thread have said, WOLFE CREEK for sure. It's a good 1 hour and 15 minutes north of Vegas in Mesquite, NV but well worth renting a car and making the drive. You likely have never played any course like it.
I like Rio Secco (I think they recently renamed it to Serket Golf Club); it's not the best conditions but some of the holes are amazing (tee box on one side of the canyon and green on the other side, etc)/
Reflection Bay on Lake Las Vegas in Henderson is a great course.
I liked Bear's Best which Jack designed and copied some of his favorite holes.
If you have any reciprocity get your pro to get you on SouthShore Country Club in Henderson. It's a private course you don't wish to miss.
I also liked the two courses at Revere Golf Club. The courses are on a plateau overlooking Las Vegas; beautiful scenery as well as fun golf.
Lastly, consider using VIP Golf Services. They can arrange all your tee times, are familiar with all of the courses, and can steer you away from courses that have greens under repair, etc.

Wolf Creek is tricked out like a video game, very fun but it’ll gobble up the better part of a day to get there and back. Pauite is north of the city on Indian land and I always play 36 out there. There are no houses, it’s like playing on another planet. Both courses at Revere are fun and basically on the same plateau west of the city as Rio Secco. Reflection Bay is great out near lake mead and that course mentioned above in the OP used to be called Tuscany is right around the corner. TPC Canyons is public but TPC Summerlin is private. Bears Best juat went private and Southern Highlands and Summit are both private too. Siena and Arroyo are both ok out in Summerlin. If Bali Hai is still around it was fun and right on the strip. Cascata is high dollar but doable, I think Wynn and Shadow Creek are only for high rollers. I love love love Las Vegas golf

Better have some serious $$$. Shadow Creek is the most expensive green fee in the U.S.
