I like it, but seems like a slippery slope.
quote:

- The post reports DHS issuing administrative subpoenas to Google, Meta, Reddit, and Discord for personal data on users criticizing or tracking ICE operations, a practice confirmed by recent New York Times reporting as part of over 100 such requests since late 2025 to enhance agent safety.
- Critics, including the ACLU and EFF, argue this targets free speech by doxxing anonymous dissenters, while DHS maintains it's solely for protecting field officers amid rising threats, with some platforms voluntarily complying per Gizmodo analysis.

Been trying to tell them for years now, the online shills will be lucky if they're not swooped up in all of this too.

It's way past the point of them being able to claim ignorance. These people know damn well they are helping to enact a coup. And have been for years.

If it can be proven they are coordinating to attack ICE agents and disrupt operations, that would warrant this sort of request imo.

This isn’t like what the Biden Administration did during Covid or forcing the tech companies to bury the Hunter Biden laptop story. There is a legitimate law enforcement function behind this move.

it's not even close to being a "slippery slope" when direct anti-law enforcement actions result in loss of life or injury.

They broke the law.

They are not participating in constitutionally protected "peaceful protests", they are willfully engaging in anti-law-enforcement demonstrations, they are not the same.

They aren't going after people who criticize ICE, they are going after those funding, encouraging and organizing the unlawful aspects of their resistance to ICE doing their lawful job of finding, capturing and deporting people who are here illegally.
