But since it is MJ, I feel like this will largely just kind of disappear into the internet. Now, had an old white athlete diddled a black boy on camera like that, it would be a media firestorm.

He has a great relationship with that kid and his family, he’s just pinching him/scratching him, albeit in an odd place that the cameras saw

It’s sad in today’s climate everyone’s mind goes to the gutter

Even great relationships with people I know, I can't imagine doing that to any of the children.

Looks weird from that angle, probably isn’t. I firmly believe MJ is a good dude.

Very telling for anyone to see this as anything other than goofy uncle behavior messing with a kid he's known closely for years.

I wouldn't even do that to my own children.

MJ might be the greatest basketball player of all time, but he’s definitely not a “good dude.”

You couldn't pinch your kids as a joke because it would be too sketchy I guess? I don't have kids but if I saw a parent pinching their kid to annoy them or to get their attention, doing this in jest, I wouldn't think much of it.

Perhaps a little odd lol, but he’s clearly just messing around.

I find that these days people are way overly sensitive with this kind of stuff and try to make normal human interactions something they’re not. It’s more of a projection of what’s going on in their own mind than reality.
