Board of Peace meeting: In remarks to world leaders, Trump said his Board of Peace will be “looking over” the United Nations. He also said the US will contribute $10 billion for the board to resolve global conflicts and outlined various countries that have pledged support for Gaza.

Seems like self dealing by bypassing normal appropriation channels, especially since President Trump heads the board itself.

It will be a drop in the bucket of what we will spend in Gaza before it is all said and done.

Yeah let’s just give a hundred plus billion to the UN again so they can sabotage us more. You Marxists are beyond dumb.

The UN is still leading the charge on the humanitarian relief effort in Gaza, despite the fact that it still refuses to acknowledge Hamas as a terror organization, it has worked hand-in-hand with Hamas for years, and we have allowed the remnants of Hamas to reenter Gaza and stay.

Trump holding the role of Chair indefinitely, with veto power and final decision making etc.. past his presidency.

While tying future administrations to the deal that includes the defense of Gaza itself. That "20 point plan" is really something.

Wonder if the $10B Trump just pledged to the Board of Peace slush fund is going through Congress seeing as it is tax payer funded?

Good question.

I think that is being "discussed" in another thread.

Self-dealing? I’d love to hear this. That is a legal term. Cite the section of code you think applies to this?

I’m not a bot. I’ve been here for over a decade but my account was banned out of the blue. Trader_tiger.

That said, your argument is weak if you have to pull a whataboutism. Address what I said.

You’ve been here a decade. Surely you can link us to your criticism of the hundreds of millions sent to Ukraine with little to no oversight, right?
