Yeah Lay not being on the all defensive team is ridiculous.

Insane that she leads the SEC in stocks but not on the all-defensive team.

10 1st team players; 11 second team.
Giving out participation trophies lessens the accomplishments of these players.
And sorry, but Flau'jae and Williams did not put up 1st team performances this year. 1st team should be Blakes, Booker, Edwards, Beers, and Strack.
Fulwiley should have been a shoo in for All-SEC Defensive team. Especially considering she puts up Top 10 defensive numbers despite only playing 22 minutes a game. And I would have had Strack, Okot, Fulwiley, Harmon all ahead of Raven Johnson for SEC Defensive POTY.

I agree, Fulwiley should have been part of the All-Defensive Team for sure.
Naming 21 players between 1st and 2nd Team but only 5 All-Freshman. Really liked how ZaKiyah transformed herself into becoming a tremendous rebounder. She reminds me so much of Aneesah Morrow around the goal.
I also would have thought that Grace Knox would have made the All-Freshman team. I really like this LSU Freshman class, hopefully they can stay together.
Really wanted to see more of Bourrage, top 10 in the country at her position with plenty of accolades coming out of high school. I guess the guard position is just that stacked this year.

Defense is more than steals and blocks. It is keeping your man in front of you and stopping them from scoring or setting up other players for easy buckets.

"Should not be first team"? The Miss. State coach disagrees & is this the coaches' poll? If not, the reporters who cover the league also know a lot more than any ranter here.

you are tripping, that's just the unrealistic picture you have in your head, they both deserve 1st team
