Once the 3 officers get no-billed, they should sue the DA........then kick his arse.

Tejashorns is the DA.
He believes the fat black Muslim firing while wearing his Property of Allah shirt could’ve been talked down by a representative from social services.

The Wren Collective sounds like the alien race of bad guys in a sci-fi show.

It's an ignorant law but I won't be mad unless somehow these guys aren't immediately no billed.

I assume this is standard across the board but making it seem like these guys are singled out?

A bunch of frick faces that think punishing immigrants and non whites for crimes is weaponizing the justice system.

DA's are slowly but surely making headway into forcing cops not to do their jobs.
Case in point - we have a mentally ill POS down the street from me. He's assaulted women, assaulted men (on video) and the cops arrest this dbag often.......only for the DA to toss the charges or negotiate them down to nothing with his other charges. Our HOA has since met with the City to determine if they can literally ban him from the neighborhood

Some activist group to which Travis county has moronically outsourced prosecution decision about office shootings, I would guess.

Doesn't all police shooting go to a grand jury? Everywhere?

A progressive criminal justice reform and strategic consulting group that has become a lightning rod for controversy due to its "behind-the-scenes" influence on district attorneys' offices across the United States.

Sounds like it’s standard procedure for officer involved shootings

Pretty sure this happens everywhere. I know Austin is a liberal hell hole and these guys are 100% heroes that should not and will not face charges. But this practice isn’t a bad one to have.

Make that DA go with the police on the next mass shooting case and tell him to go reason with the shooter before they go in.

I would think you would have to be a moron to join a police force in one of these blue cities (not talking about officers who have been there before the insanity). And then I realize that is the purpose.

Most shoots go to a grand jury. A formality more than anything.

No, or at least not always and everywhere. Requiring that they do is part of the general package of "woke DA" reforms.

This is due to the Wren Collective, an unelected advisory group that requires certain cities to send all police shootings to the DA (progressive cities with progressive DAs)
