It hit rock bottom 4 years ago. McMahon had a roster anyone and everyone who followed college basketball for a living felt could at least compete in the middle of the SEC. LSU was picked to finish around 8th that season. Instead, MM won his first SEC game....then went 1-15 the rest of the ways, losing 14 straight games after that. To anyone paying attention it was clear right then and there he was totally out his league. But for a fluke week in February of 24 this program would have no noteworthy wins in four years. The few remaining fans have had to watch that nightmare repeat again 2 of the next 3 seasons.
To put that in some context McMahon is 1-28 in games vs Kentucky, Florida, Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee and Miss. St.
