Spencer made nationwide headlines in October 2024 when he was charged with murder after shooting a man he found with his teenage daughter. That man, Michael Fosler, was accused of sexually abusing Spencer’s daughter.

He would then announce, nearly a year later, that he was running for the county sheriff seat. Spencer is currently awaiting his trial for the murder charge to start sometime in 2026.

Wife just told me he won.

The quote however doesn’t mention that the guy that died at that time had Spencer’s daughter and attempting to rape her for a second time.

The current sheriff refused to help the Spencer family.
