I'll be shocked if Guidry goes more than an inning, considering they've been using him for 2/3 innings on Fridays to save the pen for the rest of the weekend.

I trust Jay, but WHY would you DH a hitter that’s a liability in the box?
I’m guessing he is trying to get him more at bats to try and get better, but he’s never been a good hitter.
Edit- just because I wrote this, Reaves is gonna go 3 for 4 with a homer. Lol

Guidry needs to be in the Louis Coleman role. High leverage bullpen guy Friday or Saturday and if it’s not needed, start Sunday.

This game is more important than Friday. This also lets Jay know he has options IF Evans doesn't get better. But more importantly, a trial for the post season when you need more than 3 starters.

He has the lowest batting average on the entire team. This is one of the moments where I know Jay knows more than me, but I still want to ask the logic behind it.
