The FBI Raided Trump's Home Over Classified Documents, Biden & Hillary Weren't Raided....

. . .even though they had similar situations., except Biden had possession of classified documents before he became President, and Hillary was never President.
One more thing. Donald Trump was also indicted and charged with multiple felonies regarding this situation.
I think rhe Biden Administration did this to Trump in an attempt to keep him from running in 2024, but if anybody here thinks there's a LEGITIMATE reason for what seems to be insanely disparate treatment of Trump as opposed to Biden/Clinton, let's hear it.

Every single person knows it was a desperate attempt to keep him from running..

Oh no, there were a number here amongst us who defended and justified the disparate treatment and legal actions against Trump, both criminal and civil, some of whom “even voted for him twice/thrice”.

The way the statute is written, its only a crime to possess classified documents if you intentionally take them for a nefarious purpose, OR you refuse to give them back when they are discovered. Biden let the FBI come get them. Clinton erased a bunch of digital files, but otherwise complied (I think she should have been charged with some type of obstruction, but IDK)
Trump refused to let the FBI come search his files. That gave the FBI the opening to get the warrant. (Yes, there is a legal question whether Trump declassified the documents are otherwise had a right to them...im just saying he gave them the opening they wanted).
Obviously the whole thing was orchestrated to go after Trump and end his political career. But you asked for a legitimate reason for the different treatment, and that is it.
I think the statutes should be amended. It should at least be a misdemeanor to.unknowingly possess classified documents. Put the onus on people with access to be damn sure they are protecting the information

Not the answer the board will want to hear, but this is the correct answer

But again the difference, from the article you quoted:
quote:
The Biden White House has chafed at comparisons, repeatedly emphasizing that Biden has fully cooperated while Trump repeatedly stonewalled investigators.

But Biden's home was raided, don't you remember the files supposedly in a box in a garage next to an old Toyota?
Definitely not “raided.” More like an mutually agreed upon date and time for an unobtrusive visit to his residence, and only after a substantial heads up as to when agents were coming and what they were looking for, generally. Yeah, that’s not how it usually works, for obvious reasons.

Didn’t they decide not to indict Biden because “he was too old and didn’t understand what he did”?

And this is who his defenders proudly voted for.
(Even though this excuse was created by the fbi to protect him and the dims while simultaneously prosecuting OMB)

There is one critical piece you missed, Trump's lawyers asked for a specific list of what they wanted. They stalled and then claimed he was not complying. If they had just sent back what "they thought" no doubt they would have not turned in documents that had been "reclassified".

It was a true case of Malicious Prosecution. But who prosecutes the ded gum prosecutors? Especially the highest possible level ones? Well, God will for one.

The idea that a former President could illegally have “classified documents” of his own administration is preposterous and should have never been seen as anything but.

You just realized this?
Dude, I stated my opinion in the OP. One of my focuses is on how corrupt our Political Establishment actually is. Just wanted to see if anybody could defend this, because there are a percentage of people here who still laugh at any assertion of just how corrupt the system is.
Capisce?

For one thing, Trump was asked multiple times to return documents for the National Archives(even subpoenaed), but he wouldn't do so.
