Sorry if already posted.
This one is hard to sum up. You just have to invest 3 minutes into it.

I have no issue with someone getting a tattoo; however, I’ve never seen the appeal or wanted one. To me, it is the sign of someone who makes poor choices, or impulsive decisions with long term impacts.

To me, it just seems like such a strange choice. “Hey, man, you wanna take a couple hours out of your day to feel a bunch of pain to get a random image tattooed on your flesh permanently? It only costs hundreds of dollars!!!”
I actually like how some tattoos look on some people, but I just can’t imagine using that amount of disposable income for that.

I can sum it up like this:
everyone is different.
everyone is different.

How little do you earn that the thought of paying for a tattoo is going to break you?

I have nothing against them. If I didn't think I'd regret whatever I chose after 6 weeks of having it I'd get one or two.

Tattoos in certain places imply low IQ, but if you want one, I won't stop you

In fact, I sometimes prefer it so I can go ahead and get my context clues in before having to interact with said person

A tribal tat or butterfly? For sure.
What about someone that put much thought and planning into it and was very deliberate?
I have one tattoo that I got when I was sober as a judge but had thought about it for quite a while and now 22 years later I still don't regret it at all. And I'd hardly call myself impulsive or a poor decision maker.

paining for a tattoo
Aside from cost, yes, the pain of it is also a disincentive.

Some of us work long hours for low pay.
It's the only job I'm good at. Unfortunately, people aren't usually interested in reading articles these days.

You have about as much chance of convincing this crowd there is a difference as you do convincing BabyTac that remote work is usually more productive.

My eyes got cold sores just looking at that.

Every single one of those broads ruined their looks.

1. Can see more than a few minutes into their own future.
2. Do not have desperate need for attention.
3. A bit indecisive and would not be happy with their choice
4. Don't like idea of pain.

I’m not saying it would “break” me, just that I can think of many better uses for that money. Just seems like a lot less fun way to lose several hundred dollars. I mean, I could have this sleeve tattoo with a bunch of random characters from tv shows I like, or I could go on a nice vacation, buy a computer, get a new guitar, etc.
Same reason why I don’t gamble. It can be fun, but there’s more fun options.
