I just dug through some old boxes of late 80s baseball cards. Not much of value from that era, but I was pleased to stumble upon these sentimental gems.

Not late 80s but some early 90 entries.

$21,999 on eBay
Naturally my 1989 Griffey is a Bowman and not an Upper Deck.

Not really. People put those prices on them claiming some print error or whatever to jack up the apparent value, but that card sells for $50-350 for a PSA 10

Leaf made a really nice card back in the day. I also really liked what Topps did with their Stadium Club line. Score and Pinnacle seemed lower quality. Donruss and Bowman weren’t that great. Fleer was the very worst.

PSA10 Griffey
There are only a little over 4000 PSA10 Griffey 89 UD out there. They sell for $4,500 plus
