Pearson is the absolutely set on swinging at pitches 2’ off the plate. He has done it all season. It is who he is. That was a run he gave away with that guessing.

Biggest question is this. How does Pearson NEVER learn from previous at bats? He swings at the outside ball four that isn’t close EVERY time.

Their approach at the plate is completely wrong against that kind of pitcher.

He had the opportunity for a HBP, RBI but moved out of the way
