The White House has dismissed this is nonsense and you probably should as well

The popes the Catholics idolize have been shite for a little while, although, I would never advocate for their assassination. Grifting robed men don’t deserve that.

Well look at that thread with the Haitian beating a lady to death with a hammer.
That's Catholics.
That's Catholics.

I am catholic and a republican. I dislike this liberal pope. The last two popes have been a very big disappointment. But TDS is real folks

This Pope is just another leftist POS. He doesn't give a damn about what's good for America, he cares about what will increase the power of his church. That means flooding the US with Catholic immigrants without concern for the cost to this country. frick him. He's an enemy.

the hatred this board projects towards catholics reminds me of when i was a little boy and the Pentecostals would place pamphlets under the windshield wipers of our cars while we where in mass, telling us we were going to he11 and that pope paul drank the blood of children! you know because they were christians n' such!
on the bright side this board now has an irrational hatred of jews which is a much welcomed reprieve for us catholics.
one thing i've learned after 64 years on earth, white trash always blames their state on somebody else, it's never their series of horrific life choices. the jews are the reason you people can't hold jobs or own a home!

The popes the Catholics idolize
Most Catholics don't agree, much less idolize, with the current or last pope's non-ex cathedra statements.
The same when atheists bash Christianity for the sins of man, it is not the Pope that draws one to Christ. It is Christ himself.

That may be true in the US (I highly doubt it), but definitely not true in the rest of the world.

Why do you "highly doubt it"? When was the last time you went to mass?

I'm not Catholic so therefore do not attend mass.
Pew Research conducted a survey.
84% of US Catholics view Pope Leo favorably
I cannot imagine that if 84% of US Catholics have a "favorable view" of the Pope, that more than 50% (most) would at the same time disagree with his ex-cathedra statements.

In addition, the way Catholics downplay the Pope’s non-ex cathedra statements is anomalous to more recent church history. He is to be honored and his statements are to be taken seriously even when they are not considered infallible.
I can’t imagine Christians 2000 years ago saying that the apostle Peter was a buffoon and an embarrassment when he wasn’t teaching infallibly, but that has been the posture of many Catholics over the last few decades.

It reads like total TDS fan fiction. "The pope was so upset he cancelled all future visits to the US"

Seems to me the only common thing all Americans share these days are victim complexes.

We white guys could never blame ourselves, we're not responsible. It's Jewish bankers in Europe in cahoots with very old money and power entrenched elites in Europe and the US - mostly Jewish, who are responsible for our predicament along with the duped immigrants who come to our country and are favored because they actually show up at the job and do the work because a cabal of Catholic priests are also working at the behest of an Illuminati infiltrated Church that has been corrupted by American hating types. They fear the American working and middle class.
