Turtle WoW being shutdown

Should go dark around May 15th. A sad day for those who enjoyed what was by far the best Classic+ experience on the market.

They added a lot of custom zones, dungeons, and loot to flesh out the holes in the old world. Class specs were made competitive and gear was made to fit said specs. A couple professions were added. They’d just revamped the new Survival profession to be able to make things like improved arrows (a parallel to the improved bullets of engineering) and gathering tools for the other gathering professions.

Not a wow guy but turtle looked dope. Blizzard didnt even want to make classic at first.

Blizzard is entirely incapable of making good games anymore. It’s not even in their top three of priorities.

Sadly i think this has been true for 8+ years at this point
At least we have companies like Warhorse that still have passion for the games they develop

I played Classic WoW which was the most fun I've had playing a game with the boys ever.
I always said if Blizzard would just release classic again but add to the story and introduce new zones, professions, dungeons and raids it would break the internet.
I wish they would scrap all of the items that have been datamined and distribute them with new stats and traits. Everyone knew you had to have this trinket or this sword to be able to do max damage.
eta: Can you imagine a massive Scarlet Crusade raid?

I'm still on classic WoW but it's sad to see Turtle Wow go like this. I have no hope that Blizzard will make a classic+ experience anything close to Turtle.
BUT you guys should give Diablo 4 another look. It's not perfect, but the latest expansion and seasons were pretty good, and the new expansion about to launch next week looks really good. Plus, Paladin and Warlock are in as new classes.
At least it'll give you something to do until the latest update of Path of Exile 2!!

Some of these servers I think forget what a legal grey area they operate under.
