it sucks
the portal didnt pan out
I think we learned a valuable lesson
keep the guys we recruited (larson, neal, etc)
add in the portal with guys that have played big time baseball. (white, eyason, dickinson)

White yes. Eyanson and Dickinson are from schools similar to where we pulled from this go round.

Yeah, Utah Valley is basically the same as Grand Canyon. UC San Diego is another “big time school”.

No, they weren't

2010: 41-22 (14-16 conference)
2011: 36-20 (13-17 conference)

This team won't reach those win totals

They were Division 2 like a year or two before Eyanson got there.

There are some insane false narratives being constructed around the quality of both Neal and Larson.

Deceptive. That team started off 32-6 and suddenly forgot how to play baseball.

Not only that, Larson left because he didn’t have a chance to crack the lineup with our current outfielders. That’s still the case.
Brown, curiel and Stanfield are starting in front of Larson anyhow.

Would have been great to have Larson when Stanny was hurt, though.

2010 and 2011 weren't just miserable because of LSU. The adoption of BBCOR led to an extremely shitty product for a while.

Yet they made a regional (on the road) by smashing through the SEC Tournament. Regardless, they were better than this team by a longshot.

He’d have also been an answer at 1B earlier when it was becoming clear Yorke wasn’t gonna pan out.

Possibly, but I don’t think Jay would have pulled York any earlier than he did for Braun
