given the fact that they will be returning much of their team, how do the Tigers handle them this year?

They seem to think they will "walk" through the SEC.

Let RJF "take Tebow out of the game" like last year

well, they won't walk through the SEC. With that said, its hard to fault Florida fans for being cocky. 2 out of the last 3 NC's and the middle year where they didn't their QB ,who happens to be returning ,won the Heisman.

Makes perfect sense for their fans to be out of control,IMO.

I don't blame them for being confident, but the SEC is the SEC. You will be beat up all season long, and have to get up for just about every game.

Florida is returning a really strong defense, and a good offensive line. But I think they have some issues at stretching the field(not the speed part, but the route running part). If you can blitz Tebow(or Brady,Manning, etc.) and force him out of the pocket,he is not fast folks. He is strong, but if you can force him out,he'll make mistakes. That goes for any quarterback.

The Gators are a super talented team, but teams need to stop being scared of blitzing Tebow, because he won't pull up and run 30 yards on you. With us having Chavis at DC,that might just be the plan.

They are freaking unbelivable...does it suprise you that they have gotten out of hand?

Hell, it would shock me if they don't win the Nat'l Champ. again next year.

Well, I think most are misunderstanding what I mean.......they are saying things such as BEST TEAM EVER in SEC & such. I don't blame them for being confident but you can't be too cocky in the SEC.

Only because they've never gone undefeated, even with those great Spurrier teams. Its damn hard to go undefeated in cfb, and they are losing some skill at WR

I hate to say it, but they have earned the right to do so......until they step foot on the LSU campus.

I think the SEC is too unpredictable year in and year out for anyone to predict a champ. Usually the team who crowns them selves in the preseason, gets their asses kicked 3 or 4 times. (SEE: Fla-2007, LSU-2008, Auburn-2005).

I just can't get over how everything aligns just perfect for them. All def starters and backups returning, maybe the best qb to play the game but at the same time is projected as a mediocre draft pick so he comes back, etc. Same w/ all five of their starters off their BB NC team coming back a few years ago. Stuff like that is supposed to happen to a school maybe once a century, let alone 3 times in 4 years. Amazing.

I would normally agree with you, but we were a very bad and poorly coached football team last year (defense/QB). LSU has a lot to prove this upcoming season before I can say we have a shot with UF. UF thoroughly kicked our butt in every single aspect of the game last year.

Come on man who cares if they kicked our arse last year...the past is the past.

I fully expect to be in Atlanta in early December and I do not see much standing in our way in the SEC east. I am worried about LSU, at night, in TS. I am also worried about MSU, only because I cannot remember the last time we won a football game in the state of MS (Geaux to Hell Ole Miss). If we stay focused and behind Tebow, like we did after our loss last season, we should fare well. But as many of you have pointed out, the SEC is the SEC, the best and toughest conference in the land.

well, there is people out there that will concede them another title that is crazy, don't care who they are returning, a few teams played them close last year by stackin the line and forcin Tebow to pass and was in the game for a time, that is what you have to do, they have fast backs true, but they weigh like a buck seventy and should easily be stopped at the line, problem is teams don't play them like that.

A gator fan on ESPN boards stated an interesting fact: that UF has lost every game where the opposing team has more rushing yards (at least in the past few years) so he eludes that if a team can "rush" on UF, they have a chance at winning. He usually gives a good analysis and is a somewhat level-headed gator fan. LSU should be stacked at the rushing game...right?
