yeah, Scouts Inc for ESPN have ranked all the players in the league, and guess where Brees is? Well, you need to scroll down the page a few clicks before you will find him. Seriously, that actually have Fat arse Shaun Rogers ahead of him. WTF?????

I didn't even see Drew's name on the insiders page you linked. Where is he listed?

dammit, you have to be an insider to see it. I tried copy/paste, but it wouldn't work.

Brees is ranked 29th...

27 Aaron Smith
28 Patrick Willis
29 Drew Brees
30 Ladanian Tomlinson
31 Brandon Marshall

Ben Roethlesburger is ranked 16th!!! I love the Steelers and think he's a great QB, but ranking him above Brees, much less 113 spots ahead??? Come on, now! This is fricking stupid

they give him a grade of 89

quote:

Brees is an undersized quarterback who relies on a great feel for the game and an accurate arm to produce on the field. He excels at reading pass coverage. An accurate passer on virtually all levels, Brees has the arm to make the short to intermediate out throws with velocity and timing. He sets up quickly and can sidestep pressure. He does an excellent job of keeping his eyes downfield and is quick to go through his progressions and locate the best target. He uses passing lanes rather than throwing over the top of defenders and rarely gets his passes knocked down at the line of scrimmage.

The operative word here is "ESPN." They're beyond stupid when it comes to sports analysis.

A preseason ranking really doesn't bother me at all. I don't want the hype. We know that we have an all pro quarterback. We can't expect to be ranked number 1 in all catagories. Hell they've only won 15 of their last 32 games for reasonings sake.

With that said, Drew is a top 3 QB IMO.

I understand what you are saying there, Dirt, but it's not about the team rankings. It's completely disrespectful and wrong for them to rank Brees so low. If they were to put him in the top 10, I would've been cool with it... hell, even the top 15.

But 29???

Brees gets his passes batted down all the time. Who are they watching?

wow an 89?

Are they really saying that the second quarterback to ever throw for 5,000 yards in one season is not an elite player in the league?

Hard to figure.

Good!! I hope people keep underestimating the Saints and no one believes in them. I did not like it when all of the entertainers on ESPN picked the Saints to win Monday night. Let’s just keep doing it on t he filed. Who cares what these arse clowns think? They are paid to entertain, generate conversation, stir up controversy and get people talking about them.
