If Carolina can beat Minnesota, we'd seal up home field with a win next week vs. the Bucs. I think beating the Bucs, (better be) a foregone conclusion at this point.

Go Panthers.

No it won't. The Saints problems have nothing to do with tonight. People on this board aren't willing to say that the SAINTS are struggling right now. Injuries or not. The Saints are struggling. They could very well be 10-4 if not for a few good breaks. The don't need outside help.

This will allow us an extra week to rest. The Carolina game would be meaningless.

Dumb. This is like saying the Colts could easily be 7-7 since they've been behind in the 4th quarter in 7 games. Also, the Texans could be 11-3 if they didn't fumble on the goal line and miss easy FGs. Bottom line is, Saints are 13-1, and even with injuries every team in the NFC would trade places with them if they could.

I'm willing to say we are struggling. I look around the NFL and see many teams struggling. Even the mighty Colts are looking very beatable to me. I don't really understand how people think we can just casually beat every team, with no trouble at all. We have won 13 of 14 games in a long season against the best football players in the world. This is not like College football, there are no cakewalks. Each team has to come prepared, and play top notch football, despite injuries, fatigue. The Saints have a very good chance to go all the way to the Super Bowl, and win it. We are certainly a Top 5 team in the NFL, very possibly top 2, but there are no guarantees. The old adage "any given Sunday" is not a joke, it's 100% accurate. Of course all this is just my opinion
