For those that say he will not return, is this based on solid knowledge of the situation or just a guess based on his baseball prospects?
Not being a smartass, honestly just curious because I would love to see him play football one more year.

there's been like 1 person ("expert") who thinks he go pro in baseball after this season
he'll be back, don't worry

I think Chris Low fro ESPN predicted Chad would forego his Sr season in football for pro baseball. Didn't sound like he had anything firm.

Hope so but many here act like it's a sure thing he won't return.

I think his future is in baseball. Scouts will be foaming at the mouth to get a lefty as hard as he throws. He needs to work on his control and more variety of pitches.

I think it's just educated guessing.
I'd love to see him come back because he is one of the guys who has really progressed during the season.
I think he'd be potentially be an All American if he comes back.

Why would he leave now when he has a baseball season and a football season to improve his stock for EITHER profession.
Hell, he might be a highly sought after player for the NFL.

From people who know his baby momma and from a person who works in the athletic dept. Am I sure? No. But this has nothing to do with whether it is the smart decision or whether he loves baseball. I hear that he's ready to start getting a paycheck now. IMO, he's gonna be advised that he's a 2-3 round draft choice and he's gone. I hope I'm wrong.

No, he returns..he is a 15-18th round guy in this june's draft..despite his good moments, his stock is actually dropping on a professional scale..I do know that Mahtook,Ott,Ranaudo, will be first-2nd rounders over the next two years..
