You have to choose from one of those two comfort foods.

Grilled Cheese is the first choice.
I HAD to have PB & J on whole wheat every day when I was pregnant with my daughter, now I can only take a nibble of my kids lefts over sandwich and that is pushing it.

I hope you're not dissin' Jif. I eat probably a spoonful a day on average, even if it's not in a sandwich. Love the stuff.

Peanut Butter & Jelly, or Grilled Cheese?

This depends? What kind of jelly? Can I have preserves?

What type of cheese? Thickness of cheese? Is the bread buttered from edge to edge?

This is not a simple decision...

The grilled cheese can be made to your own specifications. It can even be prison style, with a brown paper bag and an iron, if that's how you like them.

Nothing wrong with preserves. Glassman is trying to skate around the rules with honey, though.

Funny you should ask, I was on a tour boat in Montreal this summer and ordered a grilled cheese from the concession stand. The bread was this terrific thick sliced sourdough and the cheese was brie. I was very impressed for my $5.

Peter Pan with Bama brand Strawberry Preserves.

Even better would be PB & strawberry preserves on ritz crackers.

As for grilled cheese, As long as I get to eat it with real Cheetos and a Dr. Pepper, I'm in. As a kid, we always had our GC with Kraft Singles (I know, not really cheese), but now I'm in for Mild Cheddar. 2 slices, butter on one side of the bread.
