I couldn't find anything on google. Several sites I found were no longer up.

Redstick was the only thing I could find, but their site doesn't show any supplies or prices.

i passed by a place on Hwy 190 near Denham Springs the other day that said it was a homebrew shop.

Although, it was probably just a cover for a meth lab...

I had no luck finding local. Just order online.

Northern Brewer

I bought my supplies for them. They also have kits for every kind of beer imaginable. They will send you a full color catalog that will show you all the different equipment.

Been there. I suppose it'd be useful if you were in the process of brewing and realized you were out of an ingredient or some equipment breaks. Otherwise, they're more expensive than online, and I seriously doubt their ingredients sell fast enough to ensure that whats on the shelf is fresh.

As the next guy suggest, try Northern Brewer (or Midwest, or Williams Brewing, or MoreBeer) - even after shipping the prices will likely be the same as the local prices, and for ingredients they'll definitely be fresher. If you plan to order either Wyeast or White Labs yeast, make sure and order an ice pack or two to go with the shipment - yeasties don't particularly care for the hot weather we get in the summer.

Brewstock down in New Orleans is a great resource. Ordering from Aaron online typically is cheaper for me than going to MoreBeer or Northern and I get it much faster. Since it is so close you can do FedEx ground and it comes the next day.

Red Stick Homebrewing Supplies over on Jones Creek is a nice shop if you need one specific thing that is not too special. Jesse's stock is always pretty low in my opinion. He is kind of abrasive but once you get on his good side he is a pretty good guy. He will price match with you as well. I just think you can get better service and better ingredients from Aaron down in New Orleans or by ordering online.

While you're on the subject, we got a subscription to Draft magazine recently. Pretty cool for those who like to eat and drink, as well as those who brew.

Pretty much every home brew I ever tasted was so much better than all watered down US crap.
