As in, do they TAKE OVER? Never been to an away game but I've heard there's a lack of Saints fans. Any thruth to this?

Whoever told you that there's a lack of Saints fans at any road game is flat out lying.

no NFL team comes even close to traveling like college teams do.

most college games are regional. Not really the case w/ the NFL.

NFL fans dont travel like college teams do. With that said, a lot of saints fans go to Tampa and Atlanta.

I fully expect the Thanksgiving game in Dallas to have plenty of Saints fans. I know I am working on my tickets.

I have a group of about 10 that was planning on the Dallas game but Thanksgiving messed us up. We'll go somewhere else instead.

They have taken over Atlanta plenty of times. Also did you see the Saints fans at the Super Bowl?

I remember back in 06, the Who Dat chants were pretty loud on TV when the Saints were draining the clock.

They travel, but they aren't given anywhere near the number of tickets that college teams get to away games, so fans have to purchase resale. &,as others said, outside of divisional games, many of the games are pretty far and expensive.

Had a lot of saints fans in Tampa last year - it was a great trip.

I figured close proximity games (ATL, DAL) would be well attended. And obviously playoffs are different...I've been to those, just not regular season games.

also, the NFL's policy on ticket allotments for visiting fans is different than the NCAA/SEC. A much smaller allotment is given in the NFL, thus making it a little more difficult to travel. The sunday game also makes it more difficult to do a friday evening-sun trip and not burn vacation days.

Even out on the West Coast with the games I have been to, the Saints fans definitely are out representing.

Steelers and raiders fans travel better than saints but were pretty damn good. Every road game I've gone to I've heard home fans say something like "man there's a lot of saints fans here".

Cowboys have tons of bandwagoners in every city but I don't think too many actually travel from Texas. No cowboys fan on the MSB has even been to the new stadium yet. They all suck.

I knew the Steelers fans traveled well, but I wasn't aware that the Raiders traveled well.
