Montario Hardesty had a breakout season the only yr he had sighnificant playing time. I beleive Murphy will do the same.

Do people expect real answers to these types of questions?

Barring injury, this was my prediction earlier and remains my opinion:
My prediction for the 2010 season
Ridley 147 carries
Ford 133 carries
Murphy 32 carries
Sheppard 12 carries
J. Gore 7 carries
B. Worle 3 carries
Dugas 2 carries
D Allen 1 carry
D Calhoun 1 carry

Hopefully, Wilson wont play running back politics and start the guy with the most talent. If Ford shows up in the fall in great shape, I'd like to see Miles start him like Arnsparger did with Hilliard as a freshman. (Even though Ford is a RS and not a true frosh like Dalton was)....

I wouldn't count on it, but it could happen.
Eddie Gran worked wonders on Hardesty; similar to what Chavis did for Kelvin Sheppard.

so u sayin that u was get a breakout yr behind scott and williams. we had a hella talented backfield and someone was gonna be left out. and if all three had not gotten hurt last yr we would not be having this discussion.

Last year for Keiland Williams is still a mystery to me. What happened to that guy?

i wish, but we have to be realistic...prob not. i think ford will be our work horse back this year. unless he cant hold on to the ball

wishful fricking thinking lol

Michael Ford is the best running back at LSU. Whether that means he gets the most carries is yet to be seen, but he should get the rock a lot this year.

Ford will be the go-to guy. Ridley in the second spot.

Gore gets carries before Ware? If he's only going to get 7 carries, why burn the redshirt?
