This article could just be him blowing smoke, but it sounds like if he doesn't get a huge offer, he'll be at LSU. Which is contrary to what most people were saying about him during the draft. This could be big.

Josh, seems like he is comparable to Mahtook. Would like to see him and Mahtook in that outfield. I guess Watkins would be the third person.

It depends on how much the signing bonus is bc the minors sure does not pay enough to support a kid. He could make more working part time on campus

This is what I've said all along to the people who completely ruled out him making it to campus. Him taking just any amount of money made no sense. It seems one person said this and everyone else just followed suit

I'm sure people have supported kids making a lot less than he can make in the minor leagues. That argument makes no sense. It just depends upon the amount of money the Red Sox are willing to pay. If they throw a lot of money at him, I wouldn't blame him for not choosing LSU.

yeah Lucas has a kid and Honkus can go F himself if he has a problem with it.

A minor leaguer makes less than 2k a month so to talk about plenty of people supporting kids on that kind of a salary is far fetched in my opinion. I know how much my kid costs and unless the mom is making good money, that little bit won't cut it

I don't think it was out of line - if he were married with a kid, it would be more likely that he has some family and monetary stability than with an out-of-wedlock child. And that's not meant to be judgmental, it's only about his chances of winding up on campus (the point of the OP). You would naturally think with more family and $ stability, he'd have a better chance of coming to LSU.
