Anyone have a good suggestion for menu for US vs. Ghana game? Would like to cook something that has an African flair?
Or might just fire up some crawfish bread and dip.

That is a really good question. My only experiences are with East African food, so I am looking to hear what people say.

Thank God. I always find it hilarious to make racist jokes when I have nothing else to offer.

I laugh at shite that's funny. Racist jokes aren't funny. Especially on a fricking food board. How about you go educate yourself on real African cusine instead attending your next KKK meeting aight coach?
Now, to respond to the OP. If you can get your hands on some flank steak here's a great North African recipe. It's one of wife's favorite meals.
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup lemon juice
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon dry sherry
1/4 cup fresh oregano
2 teaspoons hot sauce
1 teaspoon tumeric
1 teaspoon dried marjoram
Salt and pepper
1 (2-pound) flank steak
Set a jumbo zip lock bag in a large glass measure. Combine all the ingredients in the plastic bag. Score the flank steak and place in the bag. Seal the bag and chill. Marinate at least 20 minutes and up to overnight.
Heat a grill or grill pan. Remove the flank steak from the bag and pat dry. Grill 4 to 5 minutes per side. Let rest 5 to 10 minutes before carving. Serves 4
And here's the side I usually make with it. It's called Egyptian rice in my cookbook:
1 lb ground chuck
1 ea small onion, chopped
2 cn beef consomme
2 tb to 3 soy sauce
1 ts Worcestershire sauce
1 ea jar sliced mushrooms, drained
1 c raw rice
1 x salt and pepper to taste
Brown hamburger & onion. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer
until rice is done. To serve, put on top a dollop of sour cream
and sprinkle with toasted slivered almonds

You take me entirely too seriously. And thanks for those recipes, got some flank steak I was gonna use for fajitas but I believe I'll give your recipe a shot instead

Well, my mother in-law was born in Mozambique. I don't find that kind of shite very funny. To each his own I guess.
