He seems like a stand up dude, but refusing to waive his no-trade is shitty. He can eat an AIDS dick for the rest of the year. And, he probably will.

They're a game behind the Astros.

Wasn't he one of the "DVD" trio (along with Denks and Edison "I'll have my Juice extra fortified, thank you" Volquez) that were supposed to lead the Rangers to the Promised Land?

Not this, he earned his no trade. Why go from one team that isn't going to the playoffs to another team that isn't going to the playoffs?

Angels. Never heard what they were getting back though. Probably just prospects.

He was linked to Anaheim and Texas. I think he had a chance.

The specific trade he rejected was to Anaheim. They aren't catching Texas, and they aren't winning the wild card.

Damn, people forget that these dudes have to move and set up a new place EVERY time they're traded. Maybe he likes living in Chicago and he's earned his no-trade.

If he has kids and a wife, maybe they like their social circle and schools and don't want to start over.

Granted it's easier on athletes to move than the average person, but I'd imagine it still sucks arse.

He's a millionaire. He'll get over it. Not to mention that he'd be living there for probably a couple months and then sign a free agent deal in the winter. He's not going to be a Cub next year, anyway. He's a free agent in 2011 and made $13M this year.
