I mean, Sims threw it to him like he was one of his receivers. I was in the NEZ and we knew it was a pick-6, it bonuced off his hands.

You could see the other players going

Pick-6?! Really?! He was on the complete opposite side of the field.

kid made a mental error. it happens. I don't see a pattern so he gets a yard pass.

would not have been a pick six but would have returned it to 40 or 50 yard line. You can't drop that ball.

dude had 2 would-be blockers on front of him and one guy to beat.

it was going to the house, and if not, the red zone for certain.

I'm in agreement on this.

the kid dropped a pass...heck, our WRs do that all day long.

At least he was in position to make a play.

Jesus, he's a redshirt freshman and he's already just not that good?

And quit assuming it would have been a pick 6, I mean god damn, he had 90 yards to run to score, odds are he doesn't score

No way he should have dropped the ball, but I do not think he had a chance to make the endzone either. Regardless, they didn't score on that drive.

Then you aren't paying attention........He knocked some kid out last week on a block on a kickoff.......and he totally baited Simms into that throw in the redzone, you can see his coverage skills starting to translate to the field............

Overrated recruit..............

Sorry, but this thread sucks. Lets completely skip the legitimate issues to complain about and attack a freshman DB for one play.

Things happen. He was thinking about the run and not the catch. He's not overrated, the kid can play football. he just made a mistake.

he's in year one of four years of eligibility and the S is a hard position. He will be a good tiger for some time, he's still a kid learning. WAAAYYYYY too soon to call him ovverrated...

Can we talk about that block he put on the moo st kid in the opening kick off??? He is a ferocious hitter and as soon as he gets a better grasp of the position he'll be FORCE.

Wow congrats you are officially in the running for ranter comment of the day. Dude is starting as a RS freshmen and he's the most overrated recruit ever? Seriously, how fricking stupid are you?
