They did that last year too. They didn't show Bower's debut iirc because of high school football.

You guys do know that its playoff time... but oh well, we'll find the way to watch the game... If we don't, somebody's dying

For High School. I played in the playoffs and my family and friends had to travel and sit in cold arse bleachers to watch. That's what High School Football is all about.

No shite. I remember cold rainy nights in November. Builds character. And besides, the production values for those high school games suck.

the contract says they can do 65 games every year... don't know why it's 65 and not 60 or 70.

some teams have every game broadcast

btw the high school game is parkway (shreveport) vs. northside (lafayette) in the 4A playoffs... i hate that. if you're a new orleans RSN show new orleans teams

I would rather watch it on tv then go out there in the elements watch that crap. Only time I go to a game is when my cousin's in the state championship

I understand if they don't broadcast a few less exciting home games (like tonight) to try and get people going out there. I know financially they would be losing money but if they force people to go to their first game, they may like it enough to keep coming.

But it's bullshite to not show 100% of the away games. Guess I'll be going to tonight's game.

This. Or they should be able to have a league wide thing where if the home broadcast isn't showing the away game...free airing of the away feed should be done.

They don't even have Cox Cable in Shreveport. So basically the only people that might watch it are from Lafayette.

Also who really wants to watch highschool football on tv. Anyone interested in the game will probably already be there.

If you choose high school football over a professional sport and aren't a player's parent/student, then I feel sorry for you. Extremely pathetic of Cox to not air a home game with a 9-1 team...
