Justin Fuente - #1 on wish list?

IMO, this guy is legit. Is able to coach QBs (as he is also QB coach) which is something we really need, and also runs a similar style offense to les miles. not just in terms of pro formation - type offense, but also combining aggresiveness with the vigilance that we all know miles likes. plus he is young and will be good for recruiting. i think i just made him my #1 choice (csb
)

I think Cam Cameron is quickly rising to the top of mine, if rumors of his Baltimore demise are accurate.

why would he leave the NFL for CFB?
he's an elite, and i mean ELITE, NFL OC

dude. you think we dominated headlines this year with just miles???
imagine the headlines we would grab if leach and miles were on the same coaching staff. the earf would explode.

Him or Doug would be awesome hires

Fuente !!!!!!!! Clearly good at his profession and can help recruit in Texas.

Uente is great but he runs his offense from the spread, not pro form.

did we really need a thread with you announcing to us your #1 choice?

I don't know if he would necessarily but it helps that he and Miles are close.

What do you mean demise from Baltimore did they let him go?
Posted on 1/14/11 at 8:44 am to TigerFanNKaty
I think it depends on the offense's performance in the playoffs.

Yeah, I just can't see him leaving the NFL. Even if he leaves Baltimore, he would be in line for a few jobs rather quickly.

Had more to do with his son than anything else.
But it is possible given Cam/Miles history

Well he got fired and was interested in returning to college.
Not saying Cam Cameron wouldn't be necessarily, but Weis is kinda unique.

The impending lockout helps our chances. Cameron would likely not be a long term hire, but he could really help us in the short term with all the talent we have. The right hire could help us grab a title, which would be a great launching pad for the guy who makes it happen. LSU has a good setup right now, and someone is going to recognize that and take advantage
