At least this way they'd have to pitch their ace against each other.

That Regional would be the "Group of Death" to steal a phrase from the World Cup. Miami and CCU bo had tremendous pitching.

That would be nice to see LSU as a #1 seed and host. If this happens, i hope UL makes it in and are placed in the LSU regional. That would be very exciting!!!!
Go Tigers!!!!!
and Go UL!!!!!!!!!!

The SES Baseball projections have 4 C-USA teams as a one or two seed and all are listed as "at-large" teams but Houston, a projected 3 seed, is listed as the automatic qualifier from C-USA. Just thought that was a little funny.
Especially since the C-USA Tournament is not even going to be in Texas.

There is no way that Southern Miss will get the #1 seed. LSU will get the #1 and host.
It will be like this:
#1 LSU
#2 Southern Miss
#3 UL Ragin Cajuns
#4 Southern
1. Southern Miss* (5)
4. Southern*
2. LSU

Currently USM has an RPI of 4 and leads their conference. So right now, yes they would definitely get a host spot.

I understand that. But, i think after the regular season is done. LSU will have a higher RPI because of the stronger conference play.

you dont understand shite really.
LSU needs to win games consistently to strengthen their RPI
Posted on 4/6/11 at 4:52 pm to Lester Earl
They will. They are too good not to start winning consistently.
