Will this be a CBS 2:30 or ESPN 7:00 game?

Everything so far says TBA.

It just has to be the 7:00 ESPN game. If LSU doesn't have at least 1 meaningful night game in Tiger Stadium this year, it will be the worst thing to happen to college football since the BCS.

Hopefully CBS picks up Bama/Tennessee and we get the night game.

Tenn plays Bama that day

Root for Arkansas to destroy Auburn and Tenn to upset UGA and you could have CBS pick up Tenn/Bama making ESPN pick up Auburn/LSU for their evening slot

You'll have to wait until next week for that one. If LSU in still undefeated and the Barners are 6-1 with wins over #10 USCe, #10 Arky and #? UF it will be interesting to see if CBS takes us over the UT/Bama game.

LSU will be on CBS at 2:30 the two week before. I don't recall a team being on there three weeks in a row. Good money on ESPN night game.

you mean the BCS that has lead to LSU winning 2 National titles? That BCS? Without the BCS USC would not have split the 2003 title with LSU and would have more than likely won 3 strait titles, since instead of playing Texas and Vince Young, they would have been playing Penn State. But, yep the BCS really sucks

Perhaps LSU fans would like it if we returned to the DiNardo era and more night games?

As for Auburn, I'm guessing its the 645 ESPN game. CBS has LSU-UT next week, plus LSU ARKY. They will certainly pick up the Bama game, and probably Ole Miss looking at the SEC Schedule that day. They probably don't want LSU 6 or 7 weeks.

hope Auburn loses this weekend and it will be more likely. If they only have one loss when we play the more likely CBS

Good post. Never understood LSU fans' hate for the BCS when it has been so good to us. Gave us a chance to win at least one national title that we would never otherwise had. Why would we want to eliminate a system that so heavily favors us and our conference?

I spoke to high ranking official in the athletic department at the game last week. He told me that "they" are hearing 6:00 pm ESPN. But he added, that could all change with some upsets and other factors.

Depends on whether or not CBS wants Bama and Tenn. Hopefully AU loses this weekend so its not a popular game.

I'd say 50/50 eitehr way right now. A lot is going to depend on what Tennessee and Auburn do this weekend.

Interesting that the Auburn-LSU game in Tiger Stadium has been on ESPN every time since 1997.
