1. If they weathered BDS successfully, then the Dome.....
2. No dumb ints......always a chance, those were ridiculous
3. Les with a month.....the Great Saban is not immune

I know these are obvious general reasons, but they are concrete.

This time will be far different from last time. LSU will win by double digits.

Now, Gumps feel free to dismiss me, but it is what it is.

The game will come down to qb play. Both defenses will be a brick wall.

Jj is the key to the game

Hb7 with a month to get amped up on hate

Been there, done that, the "mystique" of Bama is gone

A month to rest/recover/go in fresh

I know the Gumps are trying to delude themselves that they will somehow evenly split the crowd, but it's not gonna happen. Definite homefield advantage

Agreed. With the addition that the least mistakes at quarterback and I think the Tiger special teams are more....well...SPECIAL.
Is it bad that all I want from J.J. is to MANAGE the game well?

If JJ throws the ball like he did on Saturday, this is not a concrete statement. Otherwise, I agree with the Dome and Miles' track record preparing teams for bowl games.

Hopefully moffit keeps the conditioning going for this month, b/c we outlasted Bama last game. They were gassed late in the game. If we can keep that edge combined with the other factors, it looks good.

I expect LSU Offense to play a better game this round, more relaxed... I think we will find a way to bang the RB through some holes and make some big gains.. I say LSU scores at least 2 TD's this game.. Our Def. will continue to do what it does.. I say our D comes up with a couple turn overs...

Exactly. Time to evaluate the errors in the first game. prep new stuff for exploiting Saban's tendencies.

Mile's staff >>>> Saban's staff

No. Didn't think he was the difference going into that game. Didn't think the teams were that well matched going into that game. I do think that is the case going into this one and therefore think J.J.'s play is an integral if not most significant piece of grabbing a W.

I was thinking about that too--don't eat too much out of your stockings or those Christmas left-overs, boys! These guys have been beastly all year. Forget PX90--LSU needs to market a training DVD, they'd make a mint! Of course, after hearing some of them talk about their prep over the summer, not sure it wouldn't kill about 90% of the folks who tried it...

Luckily we are not playing Georgia again and it is merely Bama , who should know his stellar play by now considering that Bama was floundering whenever he gave the ball to the RB or ran with it himself.

never said he wasn't. Just saying if he is the key well........
Just seems to me that the key should be your FIVE running backs or is it six, not JJ.....

Obviously either team can win, but I think LSU will, and easier than before. This is more than just wearing the purple n gold glasses too:

1) we know Alabama now. I think there was maybe a little too much respect/awe the 1st game, going on the road to play basically an equal. Now Les and the team know what Bama can and can't do.

2) the Dome. First, it's not Bama's home field, and second is it aids speed. Both factors are to our advantage (not even taking into account it's in La).

3) Jefferson (really). Love JJ or hate him, this game truly could be the time he puts the team on his back. We saw the first game that he and Ford were able to get outside the linebackers and make yards. Bama can't get faster, so they have to play differently. If their corners play up to stop the option, Randle etc should get open looks. If JJ can keep Bama off-balance, we could run away with this game.

24-9 LSU, maybe higher if we pile on late.

JJ can spread your team out, and run the option, I've heard you guys struggle against the option, its going to be a low scoring game for sure, but there will be a few times in the game that we get some big yards on the option, which could make all the difference.

plus JJ with a month to prepare and in a dome in a town game.

remember when we played Miami

remember when we played Texas A&M.
