Will be a tough battle with Alabama for Beckwith

Apparently they have already sold him on the transcendental position of Jack Linebacker. Seems the kids just line up for that one. If he's set on LB I think he may leave the state.

If he's deadset on playing LB then he can go to Bama. Not a LB at LSU no matter the offer at LB. A recruiting pitch is a recruiting pitch and doesn't mean much. Shepard was a QB too. Honestly if he wants to play LB then Bama is the better fit. I won't be upset if he chooses Bama to play LB. Jack isn't going to play to well once Nkemdiche commits. He's Devall 2012 imo. Not a big loss if it's a LB. I still think LSU will be the favorite until otherwise. Momma usually wins these things.

I like Steve Robertson, but the MS guys say he is worthless when it comes to recruiting. So I take what he says with a grain of salt

It's painful how little discussion is generated on the pay boards when news tidbits get posted. I try to ask legit questions and further conversations, but no one else participates except for lsufanva and a couple other people.
