Controversy in Washington? Kirk Cousins throws 3 tds

18-23 264 yards and 3 tds.
Yes I know its just preseason.
But why would the Redskins draft another QB? I would get it if they had a number of draft picks for the next couple of years. But they gave up most of them for RG3. Maybe drafted another lineman to protect your QB.
If RG3 continues to struggle and Cousins looks great the rest of the preseason.....you never know...

Not sure what happened tonight with RGIII but his first game was solid. So what do you mean by "continues to struggle"?

RG3 is the guy unless he fails to perform for a very long time. And, if that happens, and Cousins were to somehow outperform him, I'd say that drafting Cousins would be viewed as a great move.

The Packers drafted Matt Flynn and Brian Brohm to backup Rodgers. They ended up keeping only Flynn.

I didn't watch the game last night, nor did I watch the first one, but I will say that - regardless of how RGIII does or doesn't perform - he will be the starter going in. You don't pay a guy that much money and not give him at least a year to prove himself equal to the hype.

LOL only way that Cousins starts is if RG3 dies.
I watched the game last night and never heard of one defender that Cousins was up against. If Griffin was playing against the practice squad..... watch out.
