I'm safe in Houston and have had all of my work motivation sucked out by Isaac....I have not gotten a fricking thing done today.

All I'm driven to do is go buy booze, sit in the back yard, and get tore up......guess I'm jealous

+1 in Sugar Land. Not getting anything done today

This also goes for school productivity. We have a lot of schoolwork due whatever day we get back to school now, so I'll have to do it during this hurricane.

I emailed a superior saying I am housing a couple of evacuees. No sympathy whatsoever.

I'm in the UK and haven't done a fricking thing all day but drink coffee and make a list of shite that needs to get done that I'm not doing.

I'm knocking out quotes but I am working at about 1/4 normal speed.

TheDiesel, I'm in Sugar Land too.
And yes, I'm not getting anything done.

Same here in Houston. WWL, Wunderground and this site.

I'm hosting some of my relatives who are here seeking refuge from Isaac. couple that with the fact I work from home and my wife is off today and my kids are home---you do the math

My work sent all "non-essential personnel" home Monday afternoon and I took the family to Houston. I'm still getting paid to hang out at the hotel with the wife and kids. Warm and breezy here. Sure beats being in BR right now.

I'm in Memphis and everyone here just wants to make sure the same post-storm evacuees don't get sent back here. Plus I'm supposed to drive down there this weekend.

I'm about to bolt......:ashamed:

I should be catching up on a lot of work since I've been off the last 2 days and just found out I'm off tomorrow as well. I'm enjoying this "vacation" though

Exactly the same for me. I have plenty of work to do, but I've barely looked at it since I turned my TV on this morning.
