#4 is not an option for the Pelicans. They either win and get 1-3, stay at 5, or get jumped by one or more teams and fall to 6-8.
I'm predicting 5th. We all accepted building around TRob last year and that worked out for the best.

Speaking of rebuilding around TRob, everyone liking Porter in part because he fits a roster hole needs to remember that that's a big part of why we talked ourselves into thinking TRob could be a cornerstone. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with Porter, but there could be something wrong with our judgement. I guess the same could be said of Burke.

I've always seen Porter as a guy who can be a solid role player for us at a position where we're desperately lacking. Sure, I'd like a guy with superstar potential but unless the ping pong balls fall our way we're not gonna get to draft one of those. This is a weak draft so I'd be happy with getting a solid role player with picks 5-8.
