All of the talk about how bad our QB's are and Braxtom Miller/Golston rumors have to have some kind of affect on him. We did not do him any favors last year by sitting him out unless he had an injury that we didn't know about.

If it was the old coaches collective idea to sit him instead of getting acclimated to the SEC last year when we knew we weren't going to the NCG.

I think he has all the tools to lead us to a NC before his class leaves. We have to give him more time in real games and his switch will click like Fournette's.

I think every LSU fan wants the light to come on for either QB. Hell, I think everyone would be happy with efficient QBS play.

I can't wait to see it, but until I do I won't believe anything our coaching staff says.

He should have gained more experience last yr, end of story.

So do you have any reason to think this? Or is this another case of a ranter confusing facts with hopes?

He'd have to spend months studying film and just working his arse off to steepen the learning curve. Otherwise, he's not going to magically get a grasp on playing QB in the SEC.

Do you have any reason to suggest that he's doing this? I'd be excited if I read an article that stated Harris was spending x amount of time every week trying to absorb as much about the game as he could prior to spring/fall.

I don't know how many of you remember JaMarcus Russell's first game verses Oregon St. but it was not pretty. That situation turned out OK. Have faith.

I am all for either QB (Harris or Jennings) to get the job done. However, if the 'Spring Game' does not look promising from a QB perspective by the coaches, then LSU needs to recruit Miller, Golston or someone else to enroll into LSU during the summer to resolve this matter. Otherwise, let's roll with the punches into the 2015, and use the Tight Ends more, aside from just blocking. We cannot endure another year of poor quarterbacking to be competitive as a team.

1) Stay off twitter, cause it does not endear you to the coaches
2) Study the Playbook amazingly
3) Be the Yes Man of all Yes Men to the coaches
4) Work harder than anyone else on the team.
5) Ask Cam dozens and dozens of questions all the time.

And everything else will take care of itself.

The fan base predominantly believes in Harris, that is for sure, and Harris sure believes in himself, but it is the coaching staff that needs to believe in him, so if he does what he should, things will work out.

Paul Finebaum once again mentioned what a talent Harris is, this came when a caller called in and said what they don't want is Lane Kiffin in Baton Rouge. They believe Kiffin could develop and coach QB's and offensively bring Miles into the 21st Century

People fail to realize that Manziel and winston both redshirted before their heisman campaigns. Only reason harris was ever an option this early on was roster problems. Ideally qb battle should have been rettig/Jennings with harris redshirting. When harris jumped rettig he left. Only 2 options and ideally you don't want to start a true freshman against the sec. Now harris will make a big jump this year. It's amazing what a year will do. Jennings hasn't progressed in any facet of the game. Hopefully harris will.

Don't think that stuff truly motivates him. All the times he didn't get in games, his body language never indicated he was even chomping at the bit to get in. Kids got talent but there is a lot more going on there than meets the eye.

I think Miles believes that Harris can do it just listening to the comments at the presser last week. The team seems to respond to Harris better to. I believe he will be the starter come game 1.

I think so too. Let him start vs McNeese.
If LSU is up 16 on Syracuse with 10 minutes to go, let Harris have a series in the Carrier dome. Noise. Stress test.

PS. Yes, I know, Seattle came back from 16 down.

Did you not see all of his games? The ONLY, I repeat ONLY time our offense had a good passing attack was when BH was the QB.

Sure he played poorly his last game but nobody is saying he is great every game. Just that he has had great games and if he gets more consistent then he will be a great QB.
