If the series is half as good as that preview looks, I'll be happy. That preview looks badass!

So are Flash and Arrow pulling double duty with their own shows or will they just make occasional appearances? The same character has never been on two shows as a regular week in and week out simultaneously. I would love to see CW attempt this, but something tells me they will not.

I believe this series is only going to be 13 or so episodes long, and will run during the mid-season break of Flash & Arrow.

And I'm betting Oliver and Barry will only be in a couple of the episodes...if I had to guess.

Poor meme is poor.

Oh, and Vandal Savage...

ETA: In the thread about which villains would be good to make a movie about, I almost went with Savage (but I still love the idea about a Lobo space romp).

While I share what seems to be a common concern on this board - that the writers behind the "Arrow-verse" may be spreading themselves too thin - that preview looks excellent. With Victor Garber, Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell and Brandon Routh, it probably has the best cast of any comic book TV series outside of Netflix Daredevil.

I do think we've probably reached critical mass on the Arrow-verse, especially if you factor Supergirl into the mix (same showrunners as Arrow-verse, just different network). Any additional characters who Warner Bros/DC wants to use on TV vs. film (Blue Beetle? Maxwell Lord?) can be introduced and featured on one of the existing shows. TNT is still supposedly working on a live-action Teen Titans series, but it doesn't sound like that's a sure thing just yet.

Have they cast this role yet?

If not, I'd like to humbly suggest:

Looks good, but I don't want any other DC super hero tv shows.

We have reached saturation frankly...it's becoming like all those CSI spin offs.

Disagree. I view the CW/Arrowverse as a separate (and superior) universe from Gotham or Supergirl.

Yeah, I'm guessing that Rip's 1st appearance will be on the Flash finale when the Time Hunters send him to retrieve Thawne.

Legends looks interesting enough. I really wish we could've gotten Booster Gold and Blue Beetle instead of Cold/Heatwave.

So, Merlin had Thea kill Sara, to spark the League to go after the "killer", needing Oliver's protection, getting Thea killed in the process, revived in the Pits, only to have Oliver kill Ras, and to make Merlin the new Ras, then to have Merlin revive Sara in the Pits......

I'm on board. As long as there is lots of Sara in Legends.

Amell recently stated that all of the DC shows could be all tied to the same universe, and specifically said that Supergirl would be directly connected to the Arrow universe.

Here is a link to the article: LINK

And here is the specific quote I'm referencing:

quote:

So we have Flash, we have Legends of Tomorrow, a new show which is directly connected to the Arrow universe, we have Supergirl… she got picked up, directed by my good friend Glen Winter, that pilot, I can’t wait to see it, I’m sure it’s going to be amazing… there’s Gotham obviously, and I’m missing something… Titans, there you go. So again I wouldn’t worry too much about the movie universe, because we have no shortage of options for me and other characters to populate.”

Amell also went on Twitter saying he would guest star on Constantine if any network picked it up to bring it back. TNT should pick it up, IMO.
