The only 2 I know who I am actually close enough with to know their work hours both work about 50-55 hours a week on average. So not outrageous, but it does take work. Unless you own a huge business that you are able to hire people to run, making a high salary will likely take more work and more stressful work as well

Laffy. At both links. At some point I'd hope you wouldn't be working more than 40 hrs a week. And 100K is really, in my estimation, possibly upper middle class.

I make more than that and I am hardly balling. With health insurance premiums, self employment taxes and private education that really doesn't leave much left.
