this years game will be my first time in tuscaloosa. Where are some good places to eat and will there be a place for me to pitch in some $ and tailgate?

Chuck's Fish, Archibald's in Northport, Nicks in the Sticks, Big Bad Wolf BBQ nachos, Cypress Inn, Waysider or City Cafe for breakfast.

No.

Why not? Never been on a gameday, but its ok with a decent atmosphere. Figure you gotta go at least once, kinda like everyone should do bourbon street at least once.

20 years ago, Dreamland was good. The original location still isn't bad - the sauce is fricking legit - but their ribs blow donkey dick compared to Archibald's. Y'all trust me. Buy some Dreamland sauce, go to that little red shack run by an old black man, and try not to jizz in your pants.

Archibald's is fantastic. I prefer full moon over dreamland too.

Big Bad Wolves nachos are the shite.

And when you're looking for late night drunk food, go to Quik Grill and get Messy Fries.

And pay extra for the ranch, too. Damn Persians charging for sauce, but hey, make a buck off drunk fricks when you can.

Your colon will hate you the next day, though.

DePalmas is a nice Italian restaurant.

As far as tailgating, just pick out a spot on campus, preferably the quad and set up shop. They'll be plenty of fellow Tigers there.

Follow this link for general tail gating rules and regulations.

Tuscaloosa is a fun place to go watch a game. The Bama fans will call you names, corn dogs, blah blah, much like we do opposing fans. I always go back at them with Tiger bait and we usually end up eating and drinking with them.
