Well then hard to be too worried. LSU has a lot of good receivers right now and Tyron is a freshman. He has plenty of playing time ahead of him.

He was beat out by Quinn for playing time.

I can't wait to see those guys fight for PT in the spring.

Les put Quinn and Diarse on the field, either because they beat him out for playing time or to try and keep them from transferring. I don't think he was in any sort of trouble.

Les played a guy planning to transfer over him.

BS. Les played the guy that is a better blocker. Quinn earned is PT.

I'm willing to bet Diarse kept his mouth shut about transferring until after the Texas Bowl

Tyron Johnson will be a beast and won't lose any sleep over Diarse leaving

no doubt, wanted to keep Quinn from transferring...

Think Quinn could be that guy that goes over the middle like landry did, i dont see him dropping too many more balls thrown his way...i like the kid...looking at him in the houston, looked like he's bulked up a bit too...

Truth. Some struggle with facts on here.

Diarse's departure was known. He had a great bowl preparation as well and earned his time. I wish him the best, great kid and teammate.

TJ will be great, just has to wait for Dupre and Dural to move on.

I thought Trey had a phenomenal game. He will be a weapon moving forward and I still can't believe some "fans" can't see he's the best run blocking WR on the team.

I'm holding out hope LSU will play more 3 wide sets next season with Quinn getting on the field in that 3rd spot.

he has been the best run blocking WR on the team all year and that is why he played on run downs over the other wrs all year.

Majority of those "fans" don't pay attention and only know he had two drops against Bama in 2014... never mind that all the WRs on both teams had drops and played lousy in that game.

A very small amount can't get over the race issue, no matter how much they deny it. It's sad.

It's possible that he started goofing off and taking his playing time for granted. I have no inside information, but that would be par for a freshmen. Maybe the coaches wanted to send a message to him heading into the offseason.
